Bringing Home Closer
Humans have come a long way as part of evolution, from being neanderthals, cavemen and nomads, they evolved to becoming farmers and master barterers. We moved through economic struggle, innovations, transport, scientific discoveries, inventions that changed the way the world functioned and have arrived at the modern world that we inhabit now. All innovations and discoveries began with need and the goal to identify a solution for that need. From Edison’s discoveries to the latest pop-socket holders, products have survived in the market due to the demand that is both created and catered to. What stands out though are the essential goods that are part of our daily life and these are the commodities that will never go out of fashion. You might wonder why you’re reading about evolution on an e-commerce site and the answer to that is the evolution of Aha Bazaar. We are five months and sixteen days old and the journey that we have traversed has been one of astounding learnings. Each business identifies a requirement in the market and we did the same while ideating to create Aha Bazaar.Â
Living in the United Kingdom comes with its own joys, difficulties, responsibilities and expectations. One other aspect that we truly wanted to tap into is the feeling of being away from home. As patrons that have lived in the UK for a few decades now, we have always craved for all things Indian. With this requirement at the top of our mind for years now, we decided to come up with a solution and that is how we birthed Aha Bazaar. The problem was identified, people at large, including ourselves have been craving for the good food of our homes, food that is drenched in memories and stories and most of all a distinct history. Food is what keeps us happy in terms of our stomach and a sense of deep-rootedness with our culture, so what better way to stay closer to home than eating that wonderful dish from back home. We live in an era where we have vlogs, tutorials and MasterChef classes available aplenty that are dedicated to food and especially Indian food. What could we do to reconnect with our roots? We dreamed of all the things we missed from back home, Veppilakatti, Diwali Marundhu, A1 Chips, Seedai, Murukku, Coffee, the list was endless and we wanted to do something about it.Â
Don’t go into that masked-crusader mode, we’re not there yet. The good thing is that our goal was to identify a problem and present a solution for it and we mustn’t hold back while saying that we are overwhelmed by the number of lives we have touched in our journey so far and the number of people who have touched our lives in turn. The response we have had for our Festive campaigns have reinforced our belief in the people who have helped us identify a requirement and work towards catering to it. We have had the opportunity to bring brands like KTC, Heera, MTR, Suswaad, MDH, L.G, Mother’s Recipe, National, Cothas Coffee, Narasus Coffee, Kumbakonam Degree Coffee, GRB, Idhayam and the latest addition to our bandwagon is A1 Chips all the way from Coimbatore. Did you ever imagine getting your Indian goodies in the UK would become this easy? We imagined, we’re delivering now. We promise to bring home closer and what better way to start this journey than with a fresh pack of chips that have just landed in the UK exclusively for you to munch on. Don’t delay your chance to bring home closer in the UK, act now and savour that taste from home that we deliver fresh.
