Namakatti 5 Sticks

Namakkatti otherwise called thiruman is the holy mark applied on the forehead by Sri Vaishnavas. It is greyish white, with white colour prominently visible. It is a mandatory that every devotee or followers of vishistadvaita siddhantam shall apply this mark on the places in their body as specified. Symbolically this is drawn as a thiruvadi of Sriman Narayana. For Sri Vaishnavites, no activity gets started or completed without applying thiruman. This has medicinal properties too.
